Merry Christmas

The traditional new p.j.'s.
Today the kids got up around 7:45, I've come to the conclusion that they either aren't that excited for Christmas or they just like their sleep. Either way it works out good for me, but I do reminisce of the old days of getting up at 5 (or earlier) and being told to go back to bed. Did we? Never instead it was game time until the magic hour of 6 when we could finally persuade mom and dad out of bed. I really miss the magic that Christmas held for me as a child. But I am really happy that ALL of my children are still Santa believers, that helps keep the magic in our home.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful

Ok so most days I think that pine trees are just a pain in the you know where, but on Wed morning when I went out to go to work I was greeted by a beautiful sight. The frost on the trees made it true winter wonderland. Then this morning we were greeted by a blizzard. As I write this we have received about 12-15 inches and it is still coming down like no other. This pic doesn't really do it any justice.

Celebrating the Season

A few weeks ago we had our ward party and as part of that we went caroling. It was fun but cold although not as cold as tonight. We got together with the girls from work(what can I say about them except they are tons of fun!!!) and took our families to Willard Bay for the Fantasy at the bay lights. Jenny and her family supplied the trailer and we just piled on and drove around enjoying the lights around the campgrounds. FUN!!

Wisdom by Izsak

If I was an inventor I would make an airplane that ran off of sunlight. Then you wouldn't need any gas to go anywhere.

Everyday life with Izsak

Izsak is always doing silly little things that make me laugh (I think he has the Forsberg funny bone). Anyways I was in his bedroom today and happened to notice that he had hung some of his Batman Lego guys from the legs of his night light. It must have been a moment of brilliance for him to realize that they fit on there perfectly.
